What is IWM?
IWM Zurich remotely provides a Swiss bank account, MasterCard debit with Apple/Google Pay and deposits at Goldman Sachs. IWM is not a bank, but uses Swiss licensed banks to provide its services. IWM is a fully regulated and licensed bank under the So-fit, which is regulated by Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). Your relationship manager will help onboard you and answer any questions you may have. All Swiss bank accounts are protected with Deposit Insurance up to CHF 100,000 by Swiss Law.
Why IWM?
You can open a Swiss bank account the next day from anywhere in the world with IWM. You’ll get your own Mastercard debit card and access to Swiss bank accounts protected by Deposit Insurance up to CHF 100,000 by Swiss law. You’ll also have access to an account manager at all times to assist with any questions or needs.
Which countries are not eligible for residency when opening an account?
Residents of all countries accepted except Afghanistan, Belarus, Comoros, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Russia, United States of America, Venezuela, and Yemen.
How does the referral system work?
Earn $100 for each friend you invite who opens and funds an account. You can invite friends directly through the app by allowing it access to your contacts or by copying and sending the referral link. When you invite a friend, whether within the app or via a referral link, they need to: 1) sign up with your link and verify their phone number, 2) open their Swiss bank account and receive their personal IBAN details, and 3) add money to their account via credit card or bank transfer. Steps 2 and 3 will be available after the app launches. T&Cs apply.
How can I create my Swiss bank account?
For now, this is a waitlist app, and we are gathering as many IWM clients as we can. Stay tuned for the full launch. Joining the waitlist has its perks because, after the launch, the referral fee will be reduced.
